Fulham (win and over 2.5) v Sunderland @ $1.53
Craven Cottage, 4.45am Saturday
What a poor excuse of a squad Sunderland are. Being relegated two seasons in a row is an abysmal show. Sunderland have nothing to play for and Fulham have everything to play for. They’re on the cusp of automatic promotion and a big win here against a team that has already been relegated is a sure thing. I’m predicting a 4-0 win here.
Bayern Munich (win) v Frankfurt – $1.53
Allianz Arena, 11.30pm Saturday
After a very frustrating midweek champs loss to Madrid, Bayern are going to come out firing against a Frankfurt side who have been poor since it was announced that Kovac would be taking over Bayern. Yes Frankfurt may be up for this game, but Bayern at home is going to be too much. A 3-1 comprehensive win for the Bavarians.
Schalke (win) v Borussia Monchengladbach – $1.83
VELTINS-Arena, 11.30pm Saturday
My boys are back. Schalke have been grinding out steady results which has them well placed to be playing champs next year. They have won 7 of their last 9 and are at home which has been a fortress for them. Gladbach have been shaky on the road, which only points to one winner here. There are no major concerns for Schalke so I’m predicting a 3-0 win.
Southampton (win) v Bournemouth – $1.67
St. Mary’s Stadium, 12.00am Sunday
This is a tough call but I feel I’ve made the correct one. We have one team with nothing to play for and one team with everything to play for. Southampton haven’t looked terrible under Hughes and have been far more fruitful in front of goal than they were under Pellegrino.
Bournemouth have nothing to play for and heir last 4 results show that. They’re safe from relegation and can take heir foot of and relax for the next few games. 1-0 to Southampton.
Villarreal (win and over 2.5) v Celta Vigo @ $2.55
Estadio de la Ceramica, 4.45am Sunday
A win here is essential for a Villarreal side who are fighting for a euro spot. Their next 3 games are against Barca, Real and Valencia, so 3 points here is a must. Celta have been fairly poor this season and have only won 1 of their last 5 games. The one thing you can count on with Celta is that they will bang in at least one goal. Games at the Estadio de la Ceramica Are averaging 2.94 goals and when you throw in a hungry Bacca and a shit Celta defence, there will be goals.
