Paris FC v Metz (win) @ $2.25
Stade Sebastian Charley, 11pm Saturday
Who the fuck are Paris FC ? Well they’re the team no one knows exist in one of the biggest footballing cities in the world, with a name that sounds more appropriate for an autistic French kid’s FIFA FUT team. Now Metz on the other hand are the Mick Lewis of French football. Absolutely garbage last year in the top tier but drop down to Ligue 2 this season and they’ve won 7 on the trot. The first team in history to ever do this and I think that winning habit will be too much for the other team in Paris.
Prediction: 0 – 2
Hearts (win and over 1.5 goals) v Livingston @ $1.95
Tynecastle Stadium, 12.00am Sunday
I’m a sucker for the Jambos and after they couldn’t get me over the line in my Tier 2 leg last week, I’m back for more. 5 league wins on the trot and they don’t look like slowing up. Naismith is leading from the front and with Celtic slipping up they look like they could be a real title contender. Livingston’s form this season has been very impressive and I’m slightly nervous about a boil over but I just can’t stay away from my boys at their beloved Tynecastle.
Prediction: 3 – 1
Burnley v Bournemouth (win) @ $2.50
Turf Moor, 12:00am Sunday
Burnley are garbage, they’ve turned away from everything they were good at last season and have conceded more shots on goal then any other team in the league, in fact on average more than any EPL club ever… in direct contrast to the dire situation in the north, the boys from down south are on absolute fire. Eddie Howe’s chargers are playing an exciting brand of football and finding the back of the net for fun. Fraser is in the form of his career and along with Wilson and King, there are plenty of goal scorers. Historically Burnley are strong at home but this terrible run of form is going to be too hard to overturn.
Prediction: 2 – 0
Celta Vigo (win and over 1.5) v Real Valladolid @ $2.25
Estadio Municipal de Balaidos, 12:15am Sunday
After Celta’s shock loss to Girona they’ll be looking to bounce back against Valladolid. Scoring 2 goals in all of their last three games, finding the back of the net hasn’t been an issue. I’m sure their focus this week would have been to sure up that shaky defence that saw them leak three goals last game and we won’t see that again. Valladolid have had a tough start to their return to the top flight with 2 loses and 2 draws in their 4 games. Getting anything out of a Celta Vigo with a point to prove is going to be too much of an ask for these battlers.
Prediction: 3 – 0
